‘12 Degrees of freedom’ is a visual essay narrating illusive ideas of freedom suspended within internal and external frameworks. Floating plastic skins - fabrics of our time - catch character-specific movement patterns in short video synapses. Freedom: the eternal idea of a momentary experience, a dream of infinity. Is freedom but a fleeting sensation? - a sensation that requires restrictions and limitations in order to strive and unfold, that moves between a range of voluntary and involuntary boundaries?

'12 Degrees of freedom’ aims to capture this phenomenon in a series of short video sequences engaging the viewer in a speculative way.
